 The 2027 Lexus ES represents a major step forward for Lexus’ luxury sedan lineup. Now in its eighth generation, the ES combines an elegant new exterior design with a more spacious cabin, advanced technology and multiple powertrain choices.

For 2027, buyers can choose between the ES 350h hybrid, ES 350e battery-electric model, and the more powerful ES 500e AWD electric model. The ES 350h produces 244 horsepower, while the ES 350e offers an EPA-estimated range of up to 307 miles. 


The new ES also features a 14-inch Lexus Interface touchscreen, a 12.3-inch digital driver display, and Lexus Safety System+ 4.0.

The 2027 Lexus ES 350h uses a 2.5-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine paired with Lexus’ sixth-generation hybrid system.

Total system output is 244 horsepower, with both front-wheel drive (FWD) and available all-wheel drive (AWD). The FWD ES 350h achieves an EPA-estimated 46 mpg combined, while the AWD version is rated at 44 mpg combined.

The battery-electric lineup includes the ES 350e and ES 500e. The ES 350e uses a single 221-horsepower electric motor driving the front wheels, while the ES 500e features dual electric motors, all-wheel drive, and a combined 338 horsepower.

Both electric models use a 74.7-kWh lithium-ion battery pack positioned in the floor beneath the passenger compartment.
