The engine produces 349 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque and is paired with a 10-speed Direct Shift automatic transmission. Full-time four-wheel drive is standard across the GX lineup.

Lexus lists a towing capacity of up to 9,063 pounds for the Premium, Premium+, and Overtrail+ grades, while the Overtrail can tow up to 9,096 pounds with its standard tow-hitch receiver.
