Lexus Shocks The Market - 2027 TZ Starts Under $65K

Lexus has just dropped the biggest news of the day and it’s a game changer. The all-new 2027 Lexus TZ, the brand's first 3-row all-electric luxury SUV, has finally gotten an official price tag. And the best part? It starts at just $64,050, undercutting almost every luxury rival in its class.

 

The TZ is Lexus proving that luxury doesn't have to be overpriced. Positioned only about $3,500 more than a Hyundai Ioniq 9, it's coming directly for the Kia EV9, Tesla Model X, and other 3-row EVs.

KEY HIGHLIGHTS:

1. Pricing That Makes Sense: TZ 450e Premium starts at $64,050 including destination. A Lexus 3-row SUV for that price was unthinkable before.

 

2. Power & Range: All trims come standard with Dual-Motor AWD making 308 hp and 323 lb-ft torque. Base 77 kWh battery gives 253 miles range, while larger battery trims go up to 315 miles. The 402 hp Performance Upgrade will come as a dealer-installed option in 2027 for the Luxury trim.

 

3. Luxury Loaded: 14-inch infotainment screen, 12.3-inch digital cluster, panoramic glass roof, heated and ventilated front seats, power reclining 2nd-row captain chairs, power-folding 3rd row, and up to 91.5 cu ft of cargo space.

Lexus plans to put the TZ on sale later this year with NACS port, bi-directional charging, and 2,400 lbs towing capacity.
